Why Osama Bin Laden's Body Was Thrown into the Sea Rather than Buried on Land

According to CNN, Osama bin Laden was a terrorist leader who was killed by US Special Forces in 2011. 

Some people did not believe that the US government was responsible for his death at first, but as time passed, more people accepted it as a fact.

 Some reasons why bin Laden's body was buried at sea instead of on land is because it his burial ground would have become a popular tourist attraction site for his supporters and it is also possible that no country would have allowed his remains to be buried within their borders due to his reputation for causing so much harm and death. 

Additionally, terrorists with connections to Osama could have used his grave site as a place for their meetings.

 However, there have been some claims that the person buried at sea was not actually bin Laden, but DNA evidence confirms it was him.
