Wike will host Tinubu on May 3 for the inauguration of initiatives in Rivers.

As the 29th of May, the date of the inauguration of the new government led by Bola Tinubu, the president-elect, approaches, Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has announced that Tinubu will inaugurate projects in the state the following month. According to information obtained from TheCable, Wike made this statement on Wednesday while inspecting completed projects in the state.

Wike stated, "All glory to God." On the third and fourth of next month, the President-elect will dedicate the 12th viaduct and the Magistrates Court building. You can view the magnificent Magistrates Court edifice. We also commend the contractor who completed this project on time. I don't believe this is available anywhere in this region of the country."

He referred to the inauguration as a defining moment for his administration. He also disclosed that he had invited Peter Obi of the Liberal Party and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigerian People's Party to commission some projects in Rivers. Wike, whose term would conclude on May 29th, also disclosed that his administration had initiated and completed twelve flyovers over the past four years.

He thanked God for the fact that he has not disappointed the citizens of Rivers State. He added that his administration is ecstatic and can pat themselves on the back for a job well done. In addition, other significant projects will be inaugurated as part of the festivities commemorating the new governor's inauguration for the state's citizens, he said.
