Angry NDC Supporters Mass Up At Party Office Over Removal of Harusa Iddrisu

Supporters of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) in the Tamale South Constituency of the Nothern Region have massed up at the party's office.

The supporters in their numbers are against the removal of Haruna Iddrisu as the Minority Leader of parliament.

According to them, the removal of Haruna Iddrisu as the Minority Leader will have dire consequences on the fortunes of the party in the region, and want the party's leadership to reconsider the decision.

"We are surprised they have changed Haruna Iddrisu as Minority Leader that is why we have come in our numbers to the party office. We want them to reconsider the decision immediately or face our wrath".

News became rife today January 24, 2023, that the National Democratic Congress(NDC) has made changes to the Minority leadership in Parliament.

Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has taken over from Haruna Iddrisu as the new Minority Leader.

Ellembelle MP, Kofi Armah Boah will replace James Klutse Avedzi as Deputy Minority Leader whilst Kwame Agbodza becomes the Chief Whip.



A letter addressed to the Speaker of Parliament reads in parts as: "The National leadership of the National Democratic Congress wishes to formally bring to your notice the following changes the party has undertaken in its parliamentary leadership".
