NDC Makes Major shake-up In Leadership In Parliament

News coming in is that the National Democratic Congress(NDC) has made changes to the Minority leadership in Parliament.

According to sources, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has taken over from Haruna Iddrisu as the new Minority Leader.

Ellembelle MP, Kofi Armah Boah will replace James Klutse Avedzi as Deputy Minority Leader whilst Kwame Agbodza becomes the Chief Whip.

A letter addressed to the Speaker of Parliament reads in parts as: "The National leadership of the National Democratic Congress wishes to formally bring to your notice the following changes the party has undertaken in its parliamentary leadership".

The letter continues, "The new leadership would be charged to recommend consequential changes in the Ranking membership to Headquarters of the party for approval".

Meanwhile, some minority MPs have expressed concern over the changes.
