Assistant pastor reportedly faints as head pastor proposes to his girlfriend

According to a viral report emanating from Nigeria, the head pastor of a church in Oyo reportedly proposed marriage to the girlfriend of his assistant pastor and this inevitably built tension in the air.

It emerged that the lady at the center of the brouhaha who is a chorister in the church has been dating the assistant pastor and head pastor without their knowledge.



During a church program, the clergyman decided to surprise her by proposing to her, but the assistant was present.

Per the conventional ritual, he went on a knee and brought forth a ring and asked for her hand in marriage.




She obliged and give him the consent to put the ring on her finger while bubbly with excitement despite the chaos she knew will burst out while her other lover was also present.

On seeing her accept the proposal, the assistant pastor sunk to the floor on the pulpit. He was later revived by some men and the reason for his collapse was discovered by the senior pastor.
