Hitman Walle performs a verse of Blakka Tee’s “De Emperor” on rebel Salute stage

Jamaican reggae/dancehall giant, Hitman Wallle has been spotted in a viral video performing a verse of “De emperor” composed by himself and a Ghanaian sensational reggae artist, Blakka Tee.

The award-winning musician performed the global hit song at the most patronized Rebel salute which took place at plantation cove Jamaica, with performance from Tony Rebel, Ras, Capleton, I-Octane, stonebowy among others.

The event is one of the biggest in the Caribbean, gathering about 15,000 patrons yearly on a two nights stand.

During the festival, the Jamaican singer decided to preach Blakka Tee’s “De Emperor” which he was featured on.

Rebel Salute is an annual music festival held in Jamaica. It is held on January 15 of every year, the birthday of promoter Tony Rebel. It is one of Jamaica’s biggest music festivals,  known for its focus on roots and conscious music. Rebel began the festival in 1994 in the parish of Manchester and was long held annually in St. Elizabeth on the country’s south coast until 2012.  As of 2014, a festival is now a two-day event, held in the Richmond Park Estate in Saint Ann Parish.

De Emperor was originally released in 2013 and gained dominance in Ghana, Nigeria, South African among other African countries.
