Hon. Edward Bawa's Commitment to Community Well-Being Shines Through Biyalsis Guritaaba's Medical Outreach

In a remarkable demonstration of community service, Hon. Edward Bawa, Member of Parliament for Bongo spearheaded a transformative initiative in Feo through the Biyalsis Guritaaba Social Club. The event, a free medical outreach organized by the club, not only marked a significant contribution to the community's health but also served as a tribute to the late Lawyer Stephen Asuure.

The outreach, a key component of the club's annual activities, unfolded in Feo, attracting participants from the surrounding areas. Under Hon. Edward Bawa's leadership, the program achieved a commendable milestone, screening and treating over 400 individuals. Among these, several were identified for further medical attention, with referrals for surgeries in Bolgatanga.

The success of this community health initiative was made possible through the collaboration of a dedicated team of professionals. Four medical doctors, along with nurses, laboratory technicians, and pharmacists, generously volunteered their time and expertise to ensure the effectiveness of the medical outreach.

Hon. Edward Bawa extended his gratitude to the sponsors who played a pivotal role in making the event possible. The program received support from the MP himself, Endswell Pharmacy, Benson Pharmacy, and Dr. Tergah, showcasing a collaborative effort to address the health needs of the community.

As part of the outreach's broader impact, the Biyalsis Guritaaba Social Club also donated medications to the Soe Sub-district of the Ghana Health Service (GHS), further emphasizing their commitment to the overall well-being of the region.

The presence of key dignitaries added significance to the occasion. The District Chief Executive (DCE) and the Chief of the area graced the event, underlining the importance of such community-driven initiatives in the eyes of local leadership.

The evening was not only marked by a spirit of service but also a sense of camaraderie. Hon. Edward Bawa, along with others, were treated to a heartfelt dinner hosted by the wife of the late Stephen Asuure, Diana Aburenya. ACI Alex Adina, Maxwell Asaakolga, and Dr. Isaac Asampana were also among those who shared in the celebration of a successful day dedicated to community health and well-being.

Hon. Edward Bawa's unwavering commitment to uplifting his community shines through initiatives like the Biyalsis Guritaaba Social Club's medical outreach. As a beacon of positive change, he continues to inspire others to contribute meaningfully to the welfare of those they serve. This event stands as a testament to the transformative power of collective action, fostering health, and unity within the community.
