King Ayisoba accused of ‘impersonating’ Atongo Zimba for favors

In a stunning revelation, multiple sources have accused renowned Ghanaian musician King Ayisoba of impersonating fellow artist Atongo Zimba in order to gain favors from former President John Dramani Mahama.

In an interview on Bryt Tv earlier this week, Atongo alleged that Ayisoba and his team posed as him (the no beer in heaven hitmaker) because he had that revelation with the former president before leaving Ghana and that made former president Mahama welcome them and even sent them to Bole him home town for an event.

Mahama, who is known for his love for Atongo Zimba’s no beer in heaven hit song, was reportedly excited by the prospect of meeting his favorite star and ready to support him just to ask for a live performance of No Beer In Heaven upon arrival at his home town to be told King Ayisoba is a different artist altogether, Prof Atamina also recounted his experience.

The accusations have sent shockwaves through Ghana's music community, with many expressing their disappointment and outrage at Ayisoba's alleged actions. Some have called for him to be held accountable for his actions and face legal consequences if found guilty.

These allegations popped up after king Ayisoba in a interview with the same media outlet belittled Atongo Zimba saying “he’s the only one selling Ghana outside through the kologo music and that anybody that comes after him is his subordinate.

Ayisoba, who has yet to respond to the allegations, has long been considered one of Ghana's most talented and innovative musicians, known for blending traditional and modern styles to create a unique sound.

However, these allegations, if proven true, could tarnish his reputation and have a lasting impact on his career. It remains to be seen how this scandal will unfold and what consequences it may have for Ayisoba and the wider music community.
