N/R: Nanton NDC Parliamentary aspirant, Nyab Adam connects three (3) communities to the national grid

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Aspirant Mr. Alhassan Adam popularly called Nyab Adam has connected three (3) communities in the Nanton District of the Northern Region to the national grid.

The beneficiary communities include, KUKUNDAN YILI, TIBOG NAAYILI, and ZISUG NAAYILI.

Electricity polls were provided to aid in connecting in all the beneficiary communities. Addressing the chiefs and people at separate durbars, the Seasoned Unionist and Banker, Mr. Alhassan Adam (Nyab Adam), indicated that, the gesture was in fulfillment upon a request of the communities a they forgotten by the district assembly and the Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Hardi Tuferu.

The era of women of these communities walking for long distance to grinding mill has come to end and security of these beneficiary areas are rest assured as scare away criminals” he added.

According him, his outfit with the lobby skills would ensure that other communities with similar problems will resolve to aid students as well learn as education is the key to future of every child in the constituency.

The NDC Parliamentary Aspirant reiterated his commitment towards ensuring Nanton Constituency attained 100% electricity coverage if the National Democratic Congress comes to power after winning the 2024 general election. “I will work closely with government to ensure all the communities without electricity in this constituency are connected onto the national grid as we rescue Nanton, Ghana come 2024″, he said.

Mr. Alhassan Adam also ensured the maintenance of the Saha-Naa Yili community transformer which has been down for month denying community members electricity services and students from learning during in the night.

He thus, thanked the chiefs and people of the beneficiary communities for their efforts towards making the project possible, and called on them to continue supporting him as a son of the land as they for the agenda of the constituency together.

Meanwhile, the chiefs and people of the beneficiary communities who could not hide their happiness thanked the NDC Parliamentary Aspirant, Nyan Adam for the gesture and assured him of their continued support.
