10 People Sustain Injuries After Accident On The Accra-Kumasi Highway
At least ten persons were injured in an accident on the Accra-Kumasi highway near Nobewam.
The incident happened Thursday evening.
It involved a KIA Hyundai Rhino with license plate number GR 6717-19 traveling from Kumasi to Accra and a Scania VIP with license plate number AC 1586-17 traveling in the opposite direction from Accra to Kumasi.
Chris News Media was informed by an eyewitness that the VIP bus driver made an improper overtaking maneuver, resulting in a collision.
On-scene firefighters from the Asante Akyem fire station and Ambulance Service personnel transported the injured to a nearby medical facility.
