23 Persons Injured At Sehwi-Juaboso Road After Gory Accident

A gruesome accident on the Sehwi Juaboso-Afere road in the Western North Region resulted in the death of one person and the hospitalization of 23 others at the Juaboso Government Hospital.

The victims were traveling from Aboaboso to Afere in the Bodi District for a funeral, according to reports.

A few minutes after entering the community of Afere, one of the rear tires on the Sprinter bus with the registration number ER 1993-13 ruptured, causing the vehicle to veer off the road.

A young woman perished at the scene, and the remaining victims, including the driver, were transported to a hospital for treatment.

Francis Adama, an eyewitness, disclosed this is not the first time he has witnessed a similar accident, but none have been as severe as Saturday's.

He took advantage of the opportunity to advise vehicles using the road to be cautious.
