47 Year Old Man Arrested For Attempted Murder At Awuku Breku

A 47-year-old man has been detained by the Awutu Breku District Police Command for reportedly cutting his 63-year-old friend Efo Kokuvi with a cutlass over a roofing sheet.

The suspect, Nicholas Cudjoe, asked the victim to return some roofing sheets that he had asked a friend to hold for him.

He presumably caught up with him while he was away and grabbed them without telling Efo.

Efo allegedly learned that his friend Nicholas had arrived for the goods when he arrived in search of the roofing sheets, which sparked a heated argument.

Following their altercation on Monday night in Kwashie-Amabo in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region, Nicholas is accused of inflicting cutlass wounds on Efo.

Efo Kokuvi, the victim, was subsequently taken to Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital for treatment.
