5 stages of relationship every couple go through and only strong couples pass stage 3

When you meet someone that you feel attracted to, the next action to come to mind is to make them aware of how you feel and see if you have a chance with them. Just like everything stands the test of time, your relationship will also stand the test of time.

It will go through stages and growths that are either sweet or bitter. Only a few can withstand some of the surprises they are hit with. There are 4 stages of relationships all couples go through. Read to find out which stage you and your partner are in at the moment.

The Butterfly Stage

This is the first stage of a relationship. It is the stage where couples are very attracted to each other and hardly want to spend minutes apart.

During this stage, couples call and text each other every minute they can get. It is the most beautiful of all the stages.

It is the stage for puppy love. You can easily spot couples in this stage by how clingy they are around each other.

The Settling Down Or Aquintance Stage

After the butterfly stage, this stage is when couples become familiar with themselves. They become aware of each other's flaws and weaknesses and strengths. Couples in this stage come to the common conclusion that they want to be with each other and make plans towards it.

Couples may get married or without hesitation, introduce themselves to their families.

The Routine Stage

I would also call this the disappointment stage. During this stage, couples may already be living together. They become used to themselves and everything starts to feel routine. This is the most difficult part of every relationship as couples tend to question if they made the right choice of a partner.

This stage comes with facing difficulties internally and externally. Most couples fold in the stage leaving cracks of mistrust and insecurities in their relationship.

The Stability Stage

The Stability Stage is where couples find a common ground in their relationship. At this point, they can navigate through all conflicts amicably and satisfactorily. They put each other first and work towards the betterment of their relationship.

It is hard for couples to break up at this stage because they have set all the guidelines to help them love each other better and stick together

The commitment Stage

This is where you hear that some couples have been with each other for 20-plus years, 30-plus years and even more. They're at their commitment stage. They have gone through all the things that were meant to break them apart and they have stood firm.

This stage is the blissful stage because couples are at peace with each other. They trust each other completely without second thoughts because they have decided on forever and nothing more.
