After listening to the song, Abeiku Santana stated on Okay FM's Drive Time program that the message is unambiguous and straightforward.

The broadcaster with decades of experience stated that the song's lyrics are readily relatable, so he encouraged everyone to stream it.

The song is the first single from Empress Gifty's upcoming album, which is anticipated to be released before the end of the year.

Empress Gifty previously disclosed that 'Awiey3 Pa,' written by her colleague Ewura Abena, was inspired by Jeremiah 29:11, which states, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, declares the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future with hope."
