Bawumia And His Wife Samira Shakes Kumawu Ahead Of By-Elections

Vice President Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia and 2nd Lady Samira Bawumia have taken to the streets in Kumawu in advance of the impending by-election in an effort to garner support for the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) parliamentary candidate.

In an effort to secure a parliamentary victory for the NPP, the Vice President and his entourage are attempting to sway voter opinion in the constituency.

The by-election is scheduled for next Tuesday, and tensions are running high as the political parties fight tooth and nail for the coveted parliamentary seat.

The leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has made their presence known by visiting churches and mosques to obtain support for their candidate.

They have also visited local traditional authorities in an attempt to gain their trust and support.

In a statement, the Vice President expressed confidence in the success of the NPP's electoral efforts.

He urged the citizens of Kumawu to vote for the NPP, claiming that the party had their best interests in mind.

Several other political parties have also campaigned for their respective candidates in the district.

The next few days are anticipated to be filled with intense political activity, as candidates and their supporters work assiduously to win over voters.

The by-election in Kumawu was necessitated by the untimely death of Philip Basoah, the area's representative in the House of Representatives.

The victor of the election will represent the people of Kumawu in parliament and will be expected to work toward the constituency's development.
