Black Sherif Crowned Artiste Of The Year , VGMA 2024

As the 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) came to a conclusion, it was a night of glitz, glamour, and celebration of Ghanaian music.

On Saturday, May 6, several of Ghana's most prominent musicians were honored for their outstanding contributions to the music industry.

Artiste of the Year was one of the most coveted accolades of the evening, and it was won by Black Sherif.

To win the prestigious award, the rising performer defeated Kuami Eugene, Sarkodie, and Adina, among others.

Black Sherif, who ascended to prominence with his hit single "Second Sermon," has become one of Ghana's most in-demand musicians. The young artist's unique blend of hip-hop and afro beats has garnered him admirers across the nation and internationally.

Black Sherif expressed gratitude to God, his parents, and his supporters for their support upon receiving the award.

In addition, he commended the VGMA organizers for recognizing his work and allowing him to showcase his talent on such a large stage.
