Black Sherif Is My Idol - Capada C

Ghanaian musician Capada C, who lives in America, said she admires Black Sherif, the current VGMA Artiste of the Year.

The 20-year-old musician who was discovered by 3G Media and is currently creating waves with her songs claimed that although she has been writing music since she was a young girl, her formal music career only started in 2020.

Capada C continued by stating that she has always had a love for writing and music-making.

"When I was younger, I composed music for my mother to use as her phone ringtone. "Capital C" was the name I used to go by. In order to spice up my name, I altered it to Capada C.

My real name is Chelsea, and the name Capada C signifies the letter "C" in that name, she continued.

She claimed that many musicians tremendously influence her, but she specifically named Black Sherif as someone she looks up to because of his work ethic and passion for music.

When discussing some of the difficulties she faces, she remarked that although life is not always easy, creating music is what motivates her to carry on.
