Black Sherif's Lookalike Pops Up After Winning AOTY Award At VGMA 24

Since some time ago, the emergence of celebrity lookalikes in Ghana's entertainment industry has been cause for concern.

It is concerning because of how they are approaching it, for example, by performing the original celebrity's songs on television programs.

Saddest of all is that they do this and charge a fraction of what the major celebrities would have charged. Kuami Eugene, Kidi, King Promise, Medikal, Shatta Wale, as well as many others, are among the celebrities with doppelgangers. At one point, Kuami Eugene, Medikal, and others appeared to reprimand them.

They admonish them to stop making money off of other people's labor by going on shows and singing the songs of celebrities they resemble. The lookalike association then went into the studio to record their own song; they also earn money through Tiktok and a Ghc500 registration charge for new members.

A video of them welcoming Black Sherif's doppelganger is presently trending online, making it appear as though they have just acquired a new member. It was observed that doppelgangers of Kuami Eugene, King Promise, and Kidi were crying out to him. Later, he appeared singing Black Sherif's tune. This has Netizens discussing; a few comments are provided below.

" @enyoreji: This truly irritates me. Suppose you go home with one and they respond, "I look like a celebrity" when you ask what they do.

" Like play like play, these individuals are making unnecessary waves," tweeted @matchmaker3110.

" @generalhodl: Hahahaha, I swore I mistook you for Blacko. "

I believe this group is more acceptable than the previous group, anaa.

" @beatyjones9303: OMG, but he appears identical to Blacko; the resemblance is so striking mehnnn... Even the height too, and Kuami Eugene lookalike look like him paa just for today, haha. "

" @suleman_inusah: Kwame Eugene's footwear are yelling, "Change me! I'm exhausted!"

" @wassghana: They can bring #thomaspartey on board who resembles Partey. "
