Breaking News : EFCC Building Catches Fire In Enugu

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has verified a fire at its Enugu State office.

The blaze consumed one of the structures that comprised the Zonal Command.

Wilson Uwujaren, head of media for the EFCC, issued a statement on Friday afternoon.

"The incident, which occurred around 12:30 a.m. on Friday, was caused by an increase in the public power supply."

"The subsequent fire was extinguished by the combined efforts of the Enugu State and Federal Fire Services," he explained.

The spokesperson added that there were no fatalities during the incident.
