Bryan Acheampong Warn Over Using Muslim Youths For Violence

Baba Sulley warns Bryan Acheampong not to use Muslim youths for violent purposes,
Baba Sulley, the leader of Muslim youth in the Eastern region, has stated that no politician will use Muslim youth to incite violence.

He stated that the concept in which politicians deliberately recruit Muslim youth for violent political activities will not occur this time.

According to him, some politicians are under the erroneous impression that Muslim youth will be utilized for violent activities.

However, in a vehement rejection of this label, Mr. Sulley stated that it is the mentality of a few politicians to generalize the situation.

Mr. Sulley told Journalists on April 24, 2023 in Nsawam, on the occasion of the national Gargajiya festival, which was also the Sallah Durbar, that the Muslim youth are wide awake and will not be permitted to engage in such disruptive activities.

He singled out the Minister for Food and Agriculture, Byran Acheampong, and cautioned him against having the audacity to rely on Muslim youth in light of his careless remark about refusing to give over power to the National Democratic Congress in 2024.

Mr. Sulley, who expressed disappointment over Mr. Bryan Acheampong's remark, further assured that no Muslim youth under his leadership will indulge in violent behavior.

He used the opportunity to urge the Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, to take more decisive action in response to Mr. Bryan Acheampong's remark.

"There was no justification for Mr. Acheampomg's remarks, as it is not up to him to decide who to hand over power," he noted.

He added, "I condemn his statement and would like him to know that he is no different from any of us in that we all seek the peace and unity of this country."
