Businessman Who Buried His Late Father In A Toyota Corolla To Be Arrested

The businessman Norbert Atodio, who became famous after it was reported that he was going to bury his father in a Toyota Corolla as a sarcophagus, has buried his father as he had indicated.

However, he now risks prosecution for allegedly disregarding directives from the Kassena Nankana Municipal Assembly, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the National Security Agency.

Unknown are the specifics of his offense, but sources indicate that he was warned not to bury his deceased father in the vehicle but disregarded the warning.

Mr. Atodio is rumored to have conducted the burial clandestinely in his hometown of Doba on Saturday morning so that the assembly could not halt him.

But immediately following the burial, Mr. Atodio fled into hiding after learning he would be arrested for disobeying assembly and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) directives.

The body of Mr. Atodio's father could be exhumed, according to sources, if the Kassena Nankana Municipal Assembly or the EPA obtains a court order.

The EPA has determined that using a vehicle as a coffin is detrimental to the environment and is therefore prohibited. However, a directive to Mr. Atodio was apparently disregarded.

Mr. Atodio had previously explained in a video viewed by our news team that burying his father in a car is a unique way of commemorating their close relationship.
