CEO Of Cruise People Limited Has Vowed To Sue Black Sherif In Court For Alledged Breach Of Contract..

Daniel Vanderpuje, the chief executive officer of The Cruise People Limited, has vowed to sue Ghanaian musician Black Sherif in civil court for alleged breach of contract.

According to the cruise line, Black Sherif did not fulfil his obligations for a scheduled performance in Greece on July 3, 2023. As a result, the company sustained significant financial losses and reputational harm.

Vanderpuje stated that he is committed to finding an amicable resolution; therefore, it is essential that he pursues a fair resolution for his company.

"A civil action is pending...We will provide the information, and he will be served and required to respond. We will pursue this matter to its logical conclusion."He said

He also expressed concern regarding the event's unpredictability. According to him, the cruise line invested significant time and money in organising the performance, and he fears that Black Sherif's alleged breach of contract will further harm the company's reputation.

"How is the event progressing?" he inquired. "He completely disrupted the procedure. How certain are we that Black Sherif will show up if we accept his word for it?"

Black Sherif was reportedly detained at Kotoka International Airport (KIA) on the evening of 19 July 2023 after allegations that he violated his contract with a cruise line.

The VGMA Artist of the Year has not yet responded to the allegations.
