Chainsaw Operater Killed By Falling Tree In Central Region

Locals believe that the deceased was punished for violating the local gods.

A 48-year-old Chainsaw Operator met an untimely end when a tree he was felling struck him and killed him instantaneously at Twifu Mintaso in the Central Region's Twifu Atti-Morkwa District.

Emmanuel Narh, also known as Bicycle, was in the wilderness with his six-year-old son on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, when the incident occurred.

Information gathered by otecNews Yaw Boagyan indicates that when the deceased was struck by the tree, his son, who was unable to assist him, ran to the house and informed the family.


Some family members and neighbors rushed to the site of the accident, but sadly, the Chainsaw Operator was already deceased by the time they arrived.

The case has since been reported to the police and the body has been transported to the Twifu Praso Government Hospital Mortuary.

Residents have accused the deceased of committing an abomination by visiting the farm on a Tuesday.

People believe he was punished for disobeying the local spirits.
