Court Jails 60 Year Old Man For Defiling 12 Year Old Girl

Suspect sentenced to seven years in prison


A 60-year-old man has been imprisoned for molesting a 12-year-old child in the Central Region's Kasoa Ofaakor UN City.

Isaac Kyeku, also known as 'Oluu,' was sentenced to seven years in prison by the Kasoa Ofaakor Circuit Court following his trial.

After the trial, the court, presided over by Justice Oheneba Antwi Boasiako, deemed him guilty and imposed the appropriate sentence.

The 12-year-old girl was allegedly molested five times by 'Oluu', a resident of Ofaakor UN City. He allegedly lured her into his room, restrained her, and raped her.

After hearing about the victim's ordeal, her guardian contacted the police, resulting in 'Oluu's' arrest.

In court, he blamed Satan and pleaded for mercy from the judge.

However, he was accused with indecent assault and defilement and pled guilty.

According to the court, it also considered the accused's age and plea.
