Ex Black Star's Striker , Prince Tagoe Calls For Massive Shake Up At Accra Hearts Of Oak

Former Black Stars and Accra Hearts of Oak Striker, Prince Tagoe, has urged for a massive shakeup at the club in response to the team's recent poor performance.

The Prince of Goals, as he is affectionately known for his goal-scoring prowess, believes that the majority of players in rainbow colors must be shown the door because they do not meet the club's requirements.

Prince Tagoe believes that the vast majority of Accra Hearts of Oak players are unworthy of the club.
Tagoe's remark is consistent with the recent abysmal performance of the Accra-based team, as well as their 5-1 loss to Tarkwa-based Medeama Sc last weekend at the Accra Sports Stadium in the ongoing 2022/23 Betpawa Ghana Premier League.

Legendary Prince Tagoe referred to his former club's players as "lazy" during an appearance on Angel TV's "Angel Sports Live" program.

"I was saddened by the Hearts vs. Medeama game; the management should fire most of the players and reevaluate the team's recruitment standards.

"When I joined Hearts, I aspired to follow in the footsteps of the club's legends. Angry Prince Tagoe chastised, "During my time with the club, I admired Ishmael Addo and aspired to score goals like him. This time around, however, the mentality is different, and it appears the players are unaware of the club they are playing for."

The former Hoffenheim and Bursaspor attacker emphasized the status quo of the continental club champions by stating, "they need consistent performance" to maintain their standards because the club "deserves better."

Prince Tagoe spent only one season with the Rainbow club, where he claimed the Ghana Premier League and CAF Confederations Cup in 2004. He also completed the 2005-2006 Ghana Premier League season as the league's leading scorer with 18 goals.
