Gory Accident Kills 2 Lovers At Tarkwa

On 28th May Sunday, a gruesome car accident occurred on the Tarkwa-Takoradi highway in the Western Region, claiming the lives of two individuals.

The deceased, who were presumed to be lovers, were identified only as Francis and Raheal.

Meanwhile, the deceased have been placed in the morgue of the Apinto Government hospital for preservation and postmortem.

Mr. Daniel Amu, an eyewitness who verified the story stated that the accident occurred around 23:50 on Sunday, May 28, 2023.

According to him, two vehicles were involved in the accident, an F- 150 Pickup and a Trailer truck with license plates GC 8893-22 and GC 1732-Z, respectively.

According to Mr. Amu, the driver of the F-150 Pickup that fled the scene of the collision was a customer who had brought the vehicle to his shop for repairs and who was also a mechanic.

According to him, the (mechanic) took the vehicle, picked up the tos, and then went to a bar to have fun.

On the Tarkwa-Takoradi highway, between the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Ghana National Fire Service office and the Zen filling station, Ahwetieso branch, he swerved out of his lane, collided with an oncoming truck, and murdered two people while returning home from Awhetieso.

The Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD), Tarkwa Division, was notified, and officers were dispatched to the accident site to investigate and transport the deceased to the morgue.
