I Purposely Sold My House To Renovate A Football Pitch - Ex Ghanaian Footballer

Mohammed Polo, a former Ghanaian footballer, disclosed that he sold his home to finance the renovation of a Legon football field.

Polo, the owner of Golden Stars Academy, a football academy based in Legon, described the endeavor as a labor of passion.

The renovated field is now one of the finest in the region.

Polo stated in an interview with Radio Gold, "I initiated everything."

"Heart of Lions Park, Nania Park, and Ajax Park were previously existing fields.

"I came from the center, and if you go there today, you will see that it is one of the finest pitches over there.

"It has been renovated, but I began and worked on it from scratch. I spent money and had to sell my home to purchase this field.
