I have gone into covenant with God to deal with Mahama - Akua Donkor

Akua Donkor, the founder and head of the Ghana Freedom Party, asserts that to deal with the late president John Dramani Mahama, she has formed a covenant with God.

Akua Donkor claims that although she enthusiastically backed the former president in the general elections of 2012, later, he conspired with the country’s then-election commissioner, Madam Charlotte Osei, to thwart her hopes of winning the 2016 presidential election.

In an interview with Rainbow Radio, Akua Donkor said that because of the terms and nature of her pact with God, the former president—who is also striving to be the NDC’s flagbearer for the 2024 elections—will never again assume office as president in the nation until after her death.
