I'm Committed To Play For Black Stars - Germany-born Ghanaian , Jordan Amissah

Jordan Amissah, a Ghanaian goalkeeper born in Germany, has committed to playing for the Black Stars, Ghana's national football team.

Amissah, who is presently on loan at Burton Albion from Sheffield United in English League Two, was born in Germany but has Ghanaian ancestry.

There was some uncertainty regarding which national team Amissah would choose to play for internationally. He has now, however, made it plain that he wishes to represent Ghana.

Amissah stated that his desire to play for the Black Stars was non-negotiable during an interview with The I&O Podcast.

"Playing for Ghana is mandatory. Many individuals asked me, "Would you like to play for Germany or Ghana?" The day I compete for Ghana, however, will be a happy one," Amissah said. "I've got the black star on my chest, and I'm a very happy man."
