"I paid for my husband's school fees when I was a house help and this is how he paid me back" - Lady confesses

Liliana Bahati tells the story of how she worked as a housekeeper to pay for her husband's school expenses and how he returned the favour by doing good things for her.

According to her, she was the fourth kid born into a family of seven. Her mother was a civil servant who was a widow. She attended school, but when she graduated from high school, her mother retired, making it impossible for her to afford to send her to college.

She decided to hunt for work, and she was hired as a housekeeper. Even though her first job was challenging and underpaid, she persevered in doing it. She claimed to have met a young man who was a student and lived close to the home of her employer.
He assisted her in locating a better-earning position as a housekeeper, where she was paid $6,000 per month. She relocated, and they both began dating. She offered to help her boyfriend because he was an orphan and couldn't pay his school fees. Until he earned his college degree, she would send him every penny of her salary.

She claimed that when he found work, they were married. He also drove her to school and set up a business where she could work after school for her. Their lives were going along smoothly until her mother began to fall ill.

She was told that her mother was severely bleeding and that things were becoming worse. She swiftly drove her to the hospital from her house. She was notified that her mother had stage 3B cervical cancer following several tests. Her husband accompanied her as they were taken to Kenyatta Hospital, where she began receiving treatment.

She remarked, "My husband paid for my mother's medical expenses and let me spend time with her at our home."
Because her mother had lost a lot of blood, her condition was so critical that he needed a blood transfusion. All medical costs were covered by her husband, and they began to fall in love with her mother. Unfortunately, her husband lost his job a few weeks after his mother was released from the hospital, and she changed her course as well.

It has since been difficult for them to manage but her husband has been looking for ordinary jobs to support her and also pay for her mother's medication. Her husband's friends also support them by buying food for them.
She is a greatly grateful husband for not abandoning her in her time of need and he has repaid her kindness with love. She is also appealing for help from people who can help them with her mother's treatment and also get her husband a job.
