I thought I was going to die after what my attackers told me - Man who lost one eye reveals

A man who was unfortunate to have lost one of his eyes during an attack by armed robbers in his home has shed some light on the horrible day, where he pointed out that he felt he was going to die regardless of what he may do.

Idris Badamasi who hails from Edo state, but stays with his family in Abuja narrated how he defended his family when robbers invaded their home, stressing that the armed robbers who came with machetes had told him that if they eventually break through the door which he was holding from the inside, they will kill him.
The 28-year-old graduate who is a graphic artist noted that he felt that it was the end for him, and would be dead if his attackers finally break in.

However, the young man pointed out that despite such a thought, he proceeded to protect his family, after he had prayed to God to forgive his sins, as he will be joining him soon.

Speaking further, according to Punch News, the graduate of pure and applied chemistry noted that, though he eventually lost one of his eyes while fighting with his attackers, he was glad to still be alive and to have protected his family.

He said... "One of the robbers later said through the window, “You dey form strong, if I enter this house I go kill you”. After hearing those words, I felt I was going to die regardless, so I made a dua (supplication) to God, telling Him to forgive my sin as I would be joining Him soon. They were still trying to force the door open and threatening to shoot, but I wasn’t sure if they had guns"
