Titus Glover, a former representative for Tema East, stated that all parties must collaborate to combat illegal small-scale mining (Galamsey).
The government, Chiefs, the media, and civil society are all involved, he stated while appearing on TV3's The Big Issue on April 26.
Moreover, he acknowledged that combating the menace has been a difficult endeavor, but that the President and his administration are determined to continue the fight against the practice.
The former deputy minister of transport also urged the president to fire "everyone who is making his job difficult."
He indicated that criticisms regarding galamsey are directed at the President and Vice President, not those who make the President's job difficult.
Titus Glover stated that he is uneasy when the President and Vice President are continually attacked for the galamsey threat.
