Just In ; 40 Year Old Farmer Murdered In Bono Region

A 40-year-old farmer was assassinated by unknown assailants in Nchira, a suburb of Wenchi in the Bono Region. According to the information compiled, the incident occurred on April 4, 2023, when the victim was on his property.

Atta Kwaku Patrick was a well-known Wenchi Nchiraa resident. Our correspondent Nana Anfreh Damanata was told by an eyewitness that the untimely death was the result of multiple slash wounds inflicted by the perpetrators.

Since then, the body has been moved to the morgue at Wenchi Methodist Hospital. The victim's relative, the Honorable Justice Owusu Antwi, stated that on April 4, he left his home and never returned. During a manhunt on April 5, 2023, his family and colleagues discovered his decomposing body on the farm.

The decedent leaves behind a spouse and two children. This incident has been reported to the Nchiraa police station for investigation.
