Just In : Mobile Money Vendor Robbed At Gunpoint , Several Gunshots Fired

A Mobile Money Vendor in the center of Tumu, the capital of the Sissala East Municipality, was robbed at gunpoint by unidentified criminals at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 28, 2023.

According to Reliable Reports from the Tumu-based radio station Radford FM, one victim of the robbery was transported to the hospital after suffering a shock.

Unknown Amount of Money was stolen, but no one was injured in the process. The police will initiate investigations as soon as feasible.

In the past few years, Mobile Money Vendors have been subject to a number of assaults, with notable incidents occurring in Takpo, Jirapa, and Hamile. In the past, two lives were lost at Jirapa and Takpo, respectively.
