On Saturday, May 6, 2023, in London, Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and his wife Lady Julia will attend the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III and Her Majesty The Queen Consort.

The two have been officially summoned by the British Monarch to attend the ceremony.

They would join monarchs and world leaders from all over the world who will gather at Westminster Abbey for the ceremony.

King Charles will receive Otumfuo Asantehene and Lady Julia in a private audience at Buckingham Palace on May 4, 2023, prior to the Coronation, according to the statement.

"Prior to the Coronation, on May 4, 2023, King Charles will receive Otumfuo Asantehene and Lady Julia in a private audience at Buckingham Palace. They will also attend the King's official reception for foreign visitors on 5 May 2023, according to Manhyia Palace.
