KMA Boss Samuel Pyne Declares His Stance - I'm For Bawumia

Samuel Pyne, the mayor of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), has given his complete support to Dr. Bawumia in his bid for the New Patriotic Party's presidential nomination.

The ruling NPP has scheduled its presidential and parliamentary primaries for November 4, 2023, in order to select its candidate to lead the party in the 2024 general elections.

However, it appears that MPs are being coerced into joining either Dr. Bawumia's camp or Alan Kyerematen's faction, making it difficult for some of them to follow suit.

Monday on Nana Yaw Mensah Joel's Oyerepa Breakfast Show, the KMA boss made his position plain on the "Alan Bawumia camp" controversy, stating that he has always supported Dr. Bawumia.

Since 2012, he has had a great deal of affection for Dr. Bawumia, which he insists has nothing to do with the fact that he is running for president today.

"Everyone knows I'm for Bawumia and I'm in his corner......" He stated, "I've liked him since 2012."
