Kevin Taylor has accused Empress Gifty of mocking Piesie Esther for losing the Artist of the Year award at the VGMA24.

Kevin Taylor, a Ghanaian journalist based in the United States, has accused Empress Gifty of mocking her fellow gospel musician Piesie Esther for losing the VGMA24 Artist of the Year award to Black Sherif.

Prior to the awards ceremony, Black Sherif and Piesie Esther were discussed as frontrunners for the prestigious award, with the Christian community supporting the gospel musician.

Despite the overwhelming support of the Christian community, Black Sherif prevailed over Piesie Esther.

Following the announcement of Black Sherif's victory, gospel singer Empress Gifty posted on Twitter, "I need a new TABLE tomorrow "

Kevin Taylor and some other individuals view her post as a direct jab at Piesie Esther.

As is typical of Kevin Taylor, he criticized her harshly, especially given that she is the wife of Hopeson Adorye of the ruling NPP.
