Kwasi Annor Amihere Is A Fraud , There Is No Chief In Aiyinsi And It's Communities - Nana Bonyah Kofi VI

The Chief of Basake in the Ellembelle District of the Western Region, Nana Bonyah Kofi VI, has stated that the Basake and Aiyinsi communities have no Overlord.

Nana Bonyah Kofi VI told reporters over the weekend at the Basake Chief Palace, "there is a young man named Kwasi Annor Amihere who claims to be the Overlord of Aiyinasi and Basake and the founder of Aiyinasi and Basake."

Nana Bonyah Kofi VI referred to him as a fraud and emphasized that Awulae Amihere Kpanyinli III is the Overlord of Aiyinsi-Basake and the Eastern Nzema Traditional Council.

"I would like to state unequivocally that Kwasi Annor Amihere is a fraud and that we have no Overlord on Aiyinasi-Basake Anlonwoba stool land. An Overlord is the individual who possesses actual control and administration of a Chieftaincy. We have only one Overlord, who is presently Awulae Amihere Kpanainli III, the Paramount Chief of the Eastern Nzema Traditional Council. He is the Overlord, and no one may claim to be the Overlord of any municipality under the jurisdiction of the Eastern Nzeba Traditional Council.

Kwasi Annor Amihere also claimed to be the founder of Aiyinasi-Basake stool land. He went on to claim that Awulae Amihere Kpanyinli III does not have or exercise any jurisdiction over any land, which is a misrepresentation. It is true that the stool owners own the alluvial land, such as Aiyinasi and Basake, but Awulae Amihere Kpanyinli or the Paramountcy exercises absolute jurisdiction over our land. We venerate Awulae and serve him with the land we occupy; this is the Nzema tradition. "We only serve Awulae Amihere Kpanyinli III, not that gentleman; he is an impostor," he explained.

Kwasi Annor Amihere was warned to cease posing as the Overlord of the Aiyinsi and Basake communities.

He stated, "Let me put this case across, he claimed to be the founder of Aiyinasi and Basake stool land, if you tell a class one boy that you are a founder of a land, it means it is a very big achievement, if you are a founder then you are the first to arrive, a pioneer, people came to meet you, how can't you own a stool but people who came later own stools, it is very laughable,

Nana Bonyah Kofi VI took this opportunity to reassure anyone who owns property on Aiyinasi-Basake stool land that no one will demolish their property.

He added, "He (Kwasi Annor Amihere) has neither the right nor the authority to demolish any property on Aiyinsi-Basake stool land."

He also advised the general public that "this individual claiming to be the Overlord has established a land secretariat thus land office at Aiyinasi, advertising that anyone desiring a plot of land should visit his so-called office; let me state for the record that this so-called secretariat is illegal; do not see him for the purchase of land at Aiyinasi and Basake."

Abusuakpanyinli Yemi, the kingmaker of Aiyinasi, urged the decent people of Aiyinasi and Basake to remain calm. He stated that they would continue to protect the properties and lives on Aiyinasi and Basaske stool land.

He also emphasized that Kwasi Annor Amihere is a fraud and urged community members to disregard him and avoid doing business with him.

"That Kwasi Annor Amihere is not the Overlord of Aiyinasi and Basake; our Overlord is Awulae Amihere Kpanyinli III; people should disregard him and do no business with him; he is an impostor; he does not have a stool at Aiyinasi; people should ask him where his linguist staff is; he does not have; he is a trouble

Abusuakpanyinli Yemi seized the opportunity to invite investors to Aiyinasi and Basake to establish businesses on their stool land in order to provide employment opportunities for their youth.
