Lady In Wheelchair Makes Brave Move For Love On Date Rush

Many people were startled by Irene, a young girl from Ghana who has a physical impairment, when she appeared on DateRush, the top dating program on TV3.

Irene stated that she entered the program in search of love and assistance.

She said that she is unable to manage her shop successfully due to her current circumstances.

After Irene told her experience, last Sunday's episode of DateRush on TV3 took on a somber tone.

Irene, who was confined to a wheelchair, spoke of how her family's words and deeds have made her life intolerable.

When she described how her father has abandoned her for more than ten years, the studio grew as silent as a cemetery.

Irene, a 29-year-old woman, views her impairment as a strength. She stated how she has been self-sufficient for the past 10 years, living alone and running her provision shop, and she is keen to move on with her life.
