Attorney Ebenezer Apiagyei, a US-based prosecutor and Supreme Court attorney, has stated that the Federal Bureau of Investigation will seek down members of the romance scam saga.

According to him, perpetrators should not believe that they have evaded capture; rather, they will be apprehended at the appropriate moment, once all investigations have been concluded.

"Absolutely, you cannot defraud American citizens and escape punishment. The fact that they have not yet visited you does not indicate that you are not being investigated. There was a group of separate businesses, eight of which were indicted in 2020, and they were investigated from 2014 to 2018. You realize that they investigated this person between 2013 and 2019. As a prosecutor, I can tell you that this case may not proceed to trial because there is sufficient evidence against the defendants," he explained.
