Writing Letters By Heart - Lawyer Ampaw Lawyer Ampaw Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has waded into the controversy stirred by Prof. Frimpong Boateng when he attempted to accuse high-profile government officials of engaging in illicit mining, also known as galamsey.

According to him, Prof. Frimpong Boateng has transformed him into a spiteful individual similar to former Special Prosecutor Martin Amidu, who delights in defaming others in his various letters.

"When one is unhappy, one begins to write like Martin Amidu. When Martin Amidu departed the office of the Special Prosecutor, he began writing and memorizing letters. It all stems from suffering. People who are out of office when they are unhappy write endlessly, and it is evident that all of their writings were completed in agony.

With your accomplishments and track record, you do not deserve this kind of treatment from me. I felt very strongly about criticizing you, but I had no choice but to tell you the absolute truth: your report is not worth investigating, and Ghanaians should regard it with the disdain it merits", said the attorney Ampaw.

After reviewing the document released by Prof. Frimpong Boateng on galamsey, attorney Ampaw concluded on the Wontumi TV program 'Mmra Ne Abrabo Mu Nsem' that it was "full of hearsay and personal hatred" and that it revealed the author to be a "bitter person."
