MTN Has Cancelled Its Scheduled Review Of The Cash-Out Fee For MoMo.

MTN, the largest telecommunications network in the world, recently notified its valued consumers that, beginning July 1, 2023, a 1% fee will be applied to Mobile Mobile cash out transactions. A transaction below GHc2,000 will incur a 1% charge, while a cash out transaction above GHc2,000 will incur a flat GHc20 fee.

This message caused much confusion among many MTN customers, who were waiting for the new fees to be implemented before deciding what to do. Fortunately, MTN has today reevaluated the intended fee for Mobile cash out transactions.

The following is the message sent by MTN;

"Hello, Valued Customer, the scheduled review of MoMo's cash-out fee has been canceled. The current cash out fee of 1%, capped at GHS10, will be deducted from your wallet. Pay no additional fees. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. Simply MoMo it"
