Mass Force Backing Bawumia To Win The Elections At All Cost

First, there is the protracted preparation for the Bawumia presidential bid. It began prior to and immediately following the 2020 elections. This plan entailed promoting and bolstering Dr. Bawumia's novel credentials as the likely first president of Muslim descent; recruiting CEOs of state institutions to be fervent members of the Bawumia dream team or presidential election team.

And shortly the skies would be adorned with Bawumia billboards announcing the Vice President's intention to run for the NPP presidential nomination. Unbelievably, during that time Ghana was on tenterhooks awaiting the Supreme Court's ruling in an election petition case filed by former President John Dramani Mahama regarding the conduct of the 2020 presidential election.

Initially, Bawumia billboards announced the NPP Breaking the 8 Mantra. Breaking the Eight has, paradoxically, acquired a national appeal among nearly all NPP officials, ministers of state, and other party members. Perhaps, what many were unaware of was how the "Get Bawumia Elected as the NPP's Presidential Candidate 2024" agenda began to intensify in the corridors of power, to the point where it became virtually a prerequisite for the appointment to public offices.

Also, the Bawumia-presidential candidacy groomers had a deliberate and orchestrated plan to get the majority of delegates to be sympathetic to the Bawumia cause; to ensure that MMDCEs who were eventually approved by the President become instant adherents of the Bawumia agenda; and to ensure that the MMDCEs swear through their faith that they will play obeisance to the administration's or the establishment's choice. Specifically, the Vice President.

This writer discovered that the well-orchestrated plan and its implementers have been put through such rigorous testing that the Bawumia machinery has become a fetish among some NPP delegates. This explains why some of the party's young executives, whose statements reveal their support for the Vice President's bid for the presidency, have been appointed to leadership positions in important state institutions.

Among others, some of these CEOs oversee the National Lotteries Authority (NLA), the Bui Dam Project, and the Tema Oil Refinery. There are even allegations that the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation will serve as a conduit for donations to support the Bawunia campaign. In addition, these CEOs have been tasked with utilizing their relationships with other public officials to solicit additional contributions for Dr. Bawumia's presidential campaign.

The MMDCEs serve a crucial role in the Bawumia initiative. This author has it on good authority that the delay in appointing some MMDCEs was one of the deliberate means of eliciting their commitment and loyalty to the Bawumia agenda. And with the succulent and lucrative pegs that come with the position of MMDCE, the candidates eagerly complied with the stipulation.

Consequently, when they were sworn into office, their commitment to giving the Bawumia campaign their undivided attention and support was crystal apparent. As local area leaders, the MMDECEs serve as ideal conduits for the Bawumia campaign at the grassroots level. The MMDCEs are therefore expected to work on delegates who will be eligible to vote in the NPP presidential primary and obtain their consent by any means necessary, including possible monetary inducement and a religious oath regarding their allegiance to Dr. Bawumia and his presidential campaign.
