Police Arrest A Ghanaian Pastor Who Murdered A Church Member

A pastor has been arrested in relation to the murder of a married woman who sought his help.

Akyem Oda police arrested Pastor Eric Okyem for the death of a married woman who sought his assistance.

On Tuesday, April 25, 2023, Mrs. Ama Nkansah Appiah, a 42-year-old married woman, visited her spiritual father in his home for assistance, and he bathed her in'spiritual oil' while performing his task.

The woman was rushed to the Akyem Oda Government Hospital, which referred her to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, where she perished.

When the deceased's family contacted Pastor Okyem to inquire about the incident, he denied having any knowledge of it.

Pastor stated he had not seen the woman in over a month.

The family was led there by the deceased's sister, who had previously accompanied her to the pastor's home, where they discovered burn marks in the room, including on the mattress where his clients typically recline when they seek spiritual guidance.
