Police Officers Makes Donation To Deceased ''Maadwoa's'' Family

The Ashanti Regional Command of the Ghana Police Service donated water to the Maa Adwoa family during a visit to their home.

An uncle of the deceased told Akosua of in an exclusive interview that the regional police chief visited the family's home during the one-week observance.

According to the Uncle, the authorities told them during the visit to take everything in good faith during these trying times and not let the unfortunate incident involving one of their own members destroy their hope.

In addition, he mentioned that they subsequently donated 20 cases of mineral water to the family, requesting that it be used to serve guests who pay them condolence visits following the death of their daughter.

The uncle went on to say that the police added something else to the water, but he does not wish to share what it was with the public. All he can say is that the police have done an excellent job.

The uncle also revealed that the mother of the deceased is in direct contact with the Inspector General of Police, Dr. Dampare, who has reassured her that justice will be served.
