Popular Actress Kyeiwaa Back In Ghana After Spending Years In USA

Akua Atta, aka Kyeiwaa, a Kumawood actress, has stated that she has returned home to pursue other potential projects.

The actress best known for her portrayal in the film Kyeiwaa has been absent from Ghanaian screens for nearly a decade in search of greener pastures abroad.

Mrs. Akua Atta revealed in her most recent interview that, following the decline of the film industry, she decided to travel abroad in search of new opportunities.

She described her struggles after relocating abroad and clearing the waves of her performing menial jobs such as dishwashing and food sales at a restaurant to make ends meet.

"It is difficult to find white-collar jobs in the state, so it is simple to find menial work. There is no shame in working in a restaurant and washing dishes, as I did.

I am grateful to the woman who invited me to work at her restaurant, as I was privileged to receive her assistance.

She also declared her availability for any potential film roles should a producer request her services.

Akua Atta suggests that for the film industry to regain its former glory, industry actors and stakeholders must unite, support one another, and assist in restoring the craft.
