President Akufo-Addo Expresses Confidence In Ghana's Economy

After a period of turmoil, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has expressed confidence in the condition of the economy, stating that it is recovering well.

He emphasized that the cedi has attained parity with major foreign currencies, bringing much-needed relief.

In addition, he emphasized the positive impact of the Gold-for-Oil agreement, which has contributed to the long-term stability of petroleum product prices.

During his speech at Independence Square commemorating this year's Eid-Ul-Adha, President Akufo-Addo reassured the nation of his government's commitment to advance further and ensure Ghanaians' well-being.

He acknowledged the efforts made thus far and pledged to continue working towards providing aid to the affected population.

In his address, President Akufo-Addo also urged Muslim youth to commemorate Eid al-Adha in a responsible manner, discouraging them from engaging in risky behavior.

The President intended to promote a safe and enjoyable holiday season for all by emphasizing the significance of responsible celebrations.
