Revealed : Police Officers Do Not Have Right To Impound Vehicles If Driver Fails To Produce License - Popular Legal Practitioner

Martin Kpebu, a private attorney, asserts that police officers do not have the authority to impound a vehicle if the motorist cannot produce a license.

The attorney stated on Joy FM's Super Morning Show that improper parking is the reason for the vehicle's impoundment.

Therefore, he contends that it would be inappropriate for a police officer to impound a vehicle for lack of a license.

"Failure to produce a license does not result in vehicle impoundment, and we will not permit that."
