A young man has sparked online discussion after catching a woman who had been avoiding him despite the fact that he was collecting bus fare to visit him in his apartment.

The man intended to repay her by locking her inside his apartment when she eventually arrived at his home and surprised him.

His friend @mamus006 posted on TikTok a video of the woman wailing and imploring to be let out of the building.

He added that although his companion had given the woman money three times, she had broken her promise to meet with him. He denied her permission to depart on the day she finally arrived.

She wanted to depart his house after the visit, but he reminded her that he had never forgotten how frequently she had taken money without showing up.

He refused to open the gate for her despite her screams of terror and mocked her in Pidgin for falling for his ruse.
