Shatta Wale made headlines over the weekend for signing a $100,000 check for the birthday celebration of one of his longstanding friends, Prince Henry Richgame.
A few hours after the news of Shatta's benevolent act went viral on the internet, skeptics took to social media to assert that the check was forged. Others who were skeptical argued that Shatta was once again throwing sediment in the eyes of the public.
Several days after the debate over the authenticity of the $100,000 check, the Dancehall musician responded to the allegations made against him by Twitter users with a resounding clapback.
Shatta, who took the time to engage in a back-and-forth with his detractors, identified himself as a 'talented insulter' who is always prepared to confront anyone who attempts to cyberbully him.
"I like it when they talk about me," he stated in a retweet of a tweet alleging that his check to Prince Richgame was forged.
This was accompanied by a response to Twitter users who asserted that Shatta Wale is not as affluent as he claims.
